- FLAT TAPE - A 5mm wide tape stitched to the veil edge. Softer and more pliable than Russian Braid, It lends itself to scallop edges
- RIBBON EDGE - A bias of ribbon available in a 5mm or 10mm finished width. Sewn onto the edge of the veil
- RUSSIAN BRAID - A cord of approximately 3mm sewn onto the edge of a veil
- EMBROIDERED EDGE - A chain stitch used to embroider many variations of patterns on veils
Self-colours and metallic available
- OVER SEWN EDGE - An over-locked edge which is available as a straight edge or in various sizes of scallop
- PEARL EDGE - A string of pearls which is sewn onto the edge of the veil
- WIRE EDGE - An insert of monofilament placed inside an over-sewn edge to give a 'curly' effect
- DIAMANTE SCATTER - A 'crystal AB' diamante is used as standard on the veils
- COMBING - The standard method of combing is 'half combed'. This means there is a gather at the comb with a 'drop' on each side

WEDDING VEIL MEASUREMENT
Veils are made from either a circle (up to and including 108") or an oval (over 108")
The size includes the 'train' (the longest part) and the "blusher" (the shortest part, sometimes worn over the face)
These two lengths are added together to give the total veil size
E.g. 45" train and 27" blusher = 72" veil |
