| Roses & Garters Wedding Centre was set-up by Sam in July 2004 - Selling Wedding Gifts, Wedding Favours, Bonbonnieres, Guest Books & other Wedding Accessories… Along with an Information & Free Wedding Planning Service
In 2006 I had an accident at work which left me in Plaster for 6 months, being self-employed with no accident cover meant that Sam had to go back to work full time. So she threw me in at the deep end running a Wedding Shop…
In Feb 2007 we were offered Chameleon Bridal which was for sale. On the day of exchange the vendor changed her mind – which was unfortunate as Sam had quit her job to run the Bridal Shop so we were left with a large mortgage & No Bridal Shop… We were then offered Prettymades Bridal in Highcliffe - Which we took over in Sept 2007 - We were able to offer Maggie Sottero, Benjamin Roberts and Raylia Bridesmaids. We also increased the range to include Ebony Rose Bridesmaids - Whilst in our search for a Bridal Shop we also looked at Minster Bridal in Wimborne which we liked - but preffered Highcliffe
After our first year at Prettymades in Highcliffe - we had the opportunity to have Minster Bridal in Wimborne again but just the vacant property & no stock - We decided to take the chance & Re-open the shop - but diversify the designer labels to Highcliffe so that we could offer Brides a greater choice. We can now offer Phil Collins, Amanda Wyatt, Big Beautiful Brides by Special Day Bridal & Mia Solano with Bridesmaids and Prom Dresses from Amanda Wyatt, Infinity by Phil Collins Bridal, Raylia Bridesmaids & Mia Maids by Mia Solano
