So now they've finally popped the question - and the fun begins:

Congratulations - your Engaged!!

Now comes the bit where you have to decide whether you are going to choose a Church Wedding, Civil Ceremony or even have a romantic beach wedding in the sun.

Whichever you decide upon is going to be your perfect day, you still have to meet certain conditions to make sure that your marriage is legally binding.  If you wish to marry Abroad you should check what forms you need to fill in and if there are any special criteria you need to meet.

Remember also that booking a Register Office or an approved venue needs to be done just the same as for a Church ceremony - at least 1 year ahead.

White Wedding - You need to meet with the Minister, Priest or Rabbi to set the date of the wedding and for the publication of the Banns. These have to be read out for 3 consecutive Sundays prior to the wedding.

Register Office  - You need to take proof of identity such as your  Birth Certificate or Passport, and if you are getting married again you will need to take a Death Certificate or Decree Absolute of Divorce.

Somewhere Special - If you want your ceremony at a favourite spot or at home, we can help you arrange it.  Heartfelt Ceremonies can offer you something completely different but you need to have your wedding at a register office first to make it legal, then you can have your ceremony wherever you want.  It makes your day even more special and personal.

Don't forget that if you are under 18 you also need the written consent of your Parent or Guardian.
